Our range

All the plants we supply are grown by us in the open ground and in containers. We mainly specialise in conifers, hardy and deciduous hedge plants, ornamental shrubs and topiaries.

Conifers

The special conifer species we grow are very hardy and suitable for colder climate zones in Northern and Eastern Europe. Our permanent range consists of various solitary conifers and hedge conifers, such as Abies, Chamaecyparis, Juniperus, Picea, Pinus, Taxus and Thuja species in heights of up to 250 cm.

Hedge plants

Our hedge plants are transplanted every 3-4 years to keep their root systems robust and fresh. Combined with regular machine pruning of both branches and roots, this method produces strong, compact growth and uniform lots. Our most popular hedge plants are Ilex meserveae, Prunus laurocerasus, Prunus lusitanica, Taxus baccata and the very hardy Taxus media varieties. Since we grow our hedge plants both in the open ground and in containers, most of our hedge plants are available year-round in sizes ranging from 60 cm to 250 cm or more.

Instant hedges

Our unique pot-grown instant hedge elements set themselves apart thanks to their large size of 100-220 cm, compact and dense growth, and the ease with which they can be handled thanks to the modest weight of the planting bag and potting soil. Our hedge elements are grown in pots. The result is an exceptionally high rooting success rate and hedges available for delivery and planting all year round. We grow Prunus laurocerasus and Prunus lusitanica, among others, as instant hedge elements.

Ornamental shrubs

We grow a wide range and large volumes of ornamental shrubs in pot sizes from 10 litres. Thanks to our policy of cultivating certain fixed product lines and larger volumes, combined with growing in container fields and greenhouses, we’re in a position to supply a wide variety of plant sizes all year round. Our modern equipment and machinery help us grow robust, uniform plants which we can supply in large quantities.

Topiaries

Topiaries have been an important part of our range since the outset, and form part of EuroTree’s identity. Ilex, Taxus and Thuja are often used for sphere, cone, spiral, or column topiaries, while Chamaecyparis, Juniperus and Pinus are mostly pruned in the shape of pompoms or bonsai. We create compact, dense topiaries through regular, expert pruning; a valuable addition to our range of solitary conifers and shrubs.
